Now it’s official. At Saturday’s “Universum Champions Night“ in the Hungarian capital of Budapest, two world championship fights will be the highlight for the boxing fans with additional title bouts scheduled. In the headliner, European light heavyweight champion Jürgen Brähmer of Germany will get his second shot for a world title when he faces his unbeaten Universum stablemate Aleksy Kuziemski of Poland. It will be a clash for the WBO Interim world championship at light heavyweight. In the second world title bout, unbeaten WBO super middleweight champion Karoly Balzsay will make his second defense of his WBO belt, this time in his native country of Hungary. Perfectly prepared for this challenge by his coach Firtz Sdunek and highly motivated, the 29-year-old Balzsay takes on Robert Stieglitz of Germany. (More to come)
