IBF Latino jr lightweight beltholder Daniel “Tatu” Brizuela scored a ten round unanimous decision over Diego “El Matador” Chaves on Friday night at the Estadio Polideportivo Juan Domingo Ribosqui in Maipu, Mendoza, Argentina. Brizuela dropped Chaves in round nine en route to a 97-94, 97-93, 96-93 verdict.
In a 6-round middleweight bout, undefeated prospect Gabriel Ozán (10-0, 5 KOs) scored a fifth round TKO over Alejandro “Coudet” Domínguez (3-5). Ozan dropped Dominguez in round three and got the win when a wobbly Dominguez indicated he’d had enough.
