Unbeaten welterweight Kell Brook (19-0, 12 KOs) retained his BBBofC British crown with a second-round stoppage of Stewart Elwell (12-4, 1 KO) on Friday night at the famous York Hall in London. Elwell was down twice in the first round. The bout was waved off after Elwell was staggered again in round two, although the stoppage was a bit premature, it seems.
