Busy week in Kiev, Ukraine

Last Saturday a huge show took place in Kiev and already next Thursday another important event is coming up.
K2 Promotions Ukraine, headed by Alexander Krassyuk promoted a 9 fight show in the Sports Palace of Kiev. In the main event Vyacheslav Uzelkov was beaten on points by late substitute Doudou Ngumbu for the WBO Inter-continental lightheavyweight title. Ngumbu is best known from his fights against Seifudin Barakoev for the WBC Intl title and his close points defeat against Pawel Glazewski for the WBC Baltic title.
Next Thursday it will be Elite Boxing Promotion, headed by Roman Valesiuk, who will promote a 8 fight show in their gym Club Sportlife. Matchmaker Alex Kuznetsov put together 2 WBC Intl titlefights. In the co-main event undefeated WBC #4 Dmytro Kucher (20-0-0/15) will face dangerous puncher Julio Cesar Dos Santos (22-1-0/20) from Brazil for the vacant WBC Intl cruiserweight title recently vacated by Vincenzo Rossitto.
In the other main bout WBC #3 Viktor Postol (21-0-0/10) will fight for the vacant WBC Intl superlightweight title against WBC #9 Henry Lundy (22-2-1/11). Postol held until now the WBC Intl Silver title.
Upcoming prospects Marat Kulumbegov and Oleg Malynovskyy will fight on the undercard of this very interesting show.
