The official press conference for Saturday’s anticipated clash between IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute and former WBC world champion Carl Froch took place today at the Albert Hall in Nottingham, England.
Lucian Bute: “I’ve worked very hard for this fight. I know it’s not an easy fight for me but I came here to win. I’m a winner.”
Carl Froch: “If Bute thinks he can come here to my home and best me he’s wrong. I know what it’s like to fight against the crowd, I did it in Denmark. To come to my backyard insults me, I’m gonna punish him. I’m gonna enjoy it. Thanks to him for coming over but he’s making a big mistake.”
