Bute has something to prove

Despite a 30-1 record with 24 KOs and 10 world title defenses, the Canadian Press isn’t going easy on former IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute after suffering his first loss in May against Carl Froch. “Suspect chin,” and “tattered reputation” are a few of the expressions used to describe Bute in an article published today by CP. Regardless of harsh criticisms, Bute remains one of the best and most exciting super middleweights in the fight game today. And to his credit, Bute didn’t choose an easy touch for his comeback fight in unbeaten Denis Grachev, who knocked out previously unbeaten #2 rated light heavyweight Ismayl Sillakh in his previous fight.

The November 3rd Bute-Grachev event is available live at WealthTV is available on Verizon FiOS TV (channels 169 and 669 in HD), AT&T U-Verse TV (channels 470 and 1470 in HD), along with over 100 cable systems across the country. Click here for more information.
