Promoter Nick Garone of X-Cel Worldwide will continue his revival of pro boxing in Buffalo on February 20 at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. The aptly named “Return of Buffalo Boxing” will feature two-time super middleweight world champion Byron Mitchell (26-4-1, 19 KOs) against 6′ 4″ Zach “Jungle Boy” Walters (23-3, 18 KOs). In the co-main event, local heavyweight Paul “The Italian Hit Man” Marinaccio will face veteran Ryan Thompson. Also super lightweight Meacher Major (15-3-1, 13 KOs) goes against Kevin Carmody (10-10-2, 1 KO) in an eight-rounder. Tickets are $30, $50 and $100, and are available by calling 631.878.1676.
