Caballero: I’m better than ever

WBA/IBF super bantamweight champion Celestino “Pelenchin” Caballero (33-2, 23 KOs) has commented on his eighth round TKO over #13 rated Francisco Leal (14-5-2, 9 KOs) in a non-televised title defense last Saturday at the Ciudad Deportiva in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. “Leal was a game opponent, but I’m not going to give my titles up to anyone,” said Caballero. “I’ve been on top of this division for almost four years now, and I feel stronger and better than ever.” Caballero is hoping to land a fight with unbeaten Puerto Rican superstar Juan Manuel “Juanma” Lopez.
