In a letter sent to fightnews.com and International Media, Panamanian two-division world champion Celestino “Pelenchin” Caballero has announced his formal decision to vacate his WBA featherweight world crown after many months of controversial situations with WBA.
“I have more to do in boxing and in my career. The WBA has their dark interests with my crown. I have respected their decisions at all times and only now have to say many thanks to the WBA who gave me a chance. I resign their crown with pride and dignity,” said Caballero.
