Plans are in the works for current WBA/IBF superbantamweight world champion Celestino “Pelenchín” Caballero (32-2, 22 KO s) to defend his crowns against local challenger Francisco “Franky” Leal (14-4-2, 9 KOs) on August 29 in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. The card wil be promoted by KO Entertainment and Rochmar with the state government of Baja California. Caballero has been training at the Ceremonial Center Otomi in Toluca, Mexico.
