California hires new Athletic Commission chief

The California State Athletic Commission, which oversees more boxing events than any other state, has brought a new Executive Officer from out of state. The new California boxing chief is Andy Foster, formerly the Executive Director of the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission. Foster will start November 7.
