Campillo-Shumenov Update

In regards to an information published earlier today, the World Boxing Association wants to inform that in order for the organization to approve any world title fight the involved promoters must submit the appropriate contracts as well as some other paperwork needs to be completed, which is not the case of the proposed rematch between WBA Light Heavyweight champ Gabriel Campillo and challenger Beibut Shumenov. However, the above mentioned rematch has been verbally proposed and is being considered by the WBA World Championship Committee for possible approval.
