Formers world champions Cesar Canchila (28-2, 22 KOs) of Colombia and Juan Landaeta (25-6-1, 19 KOs) of Venezuela could meet in an IBF eliminator with the winner to challenge IBF jr. flyweight champion Brian Viloria. Canchila is rated IBF #6 and Landaeta is #9. The fight would be held in November at the Elías Chegwin Gym in Barranquilla or in Monteria, the hometown of Canchila. The negotiations for this fight are ongoing and are expected to be finalized shortly.
