Caparello outpoints Powers

Australian light heavyweight prospect Blake Caparello (15-0-1, 6KOs) scored a shutout victory over Avitey Powers (18-19-1, 14KOs) in an eight round main event contest at the Grand Star Reception Center in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on Friday. Caparello dominated Powers with superior boxing skills to win all the rounds by scores 80-72, 80-72, 80-72.

In main supporting bout light middleweight prospect Dwight Ritchie clearly defeated Singdet Nonitayakom over eight rounds to be awarded the decision by scores 80-73,80-72,80-72.

London 2012 Olympian welterweight Jeff Horn made a successful professional debut by stopping Jody Allen at 2:22 of round two.
Featherweight Jai Alexander scored a four round points decision over Petch Lookchaopraya by scores 40-36, 40-36, 40-36.

Light heavyweight Andrew Robinson forced a stoppage over Mickey White at 1.02 of round five

Japan’s light welterweight Takashi Suguira and Alex Ahtong boxed a six round draw. Scores 57-57, 57-57, 59-56.

Light weight Sebastian Singh scored a majority four round decision over
Dimitry Shchukin by scored 39-37, 38-38, 40-36.
