Caparello to face Mckay

Australian light heavyweight Blake Capparello (4-0, 1 KO) will clash with Kane McKay (8-8-2, 4 KOs) over ten rounds with World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific 175 pound title up for grabs at the Malvern Town Hall in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on Friday. Capparello is scheduled to challenge Shane McConville for the Australian light heavyweight championship on August 8. McKay has been in the ring with the best including former world rated Nader Hamdan and Daniel Lovett also current WBA #7 light heavyweight Tim Bell. In the main supporting bout, cruiserweight Stephen Gillingham (4-3) will slug it out with Aaron Ross (3-2, 1 KO) over eight rounds. Welterweight Jimmy James (7-2-1, 1 KO) will meet Robert Monitto (2-5, 1 KO) over eight rounds. Promoter: Peter Maniatis.
