WBO super flyweight champion Jose ‘Carita’ Lopez (39-7-2, 32 KOs) of Puerto Rico and his upcoming challenger Marvin Sonsona (13-0, 12 KOs) of the Philippines squared off for the first time today in Ontario, Canada. The two will fight for real this Friday September 4th at the Casino Rama in Ontario Canada. The PR Best Boxing (Ivan & Peter Rivera) Promoted Lopez was very confident of victory at their press conference held today. “I can tell you that I have come very well prepared for this fight. I know that Sonsona has youth in his favor but I see myself knocking him out,” said Lopez.
