Ex-Olympian for Mexico Juan Castaneda Jr. will be facing Angel “Flash” Granados (17-7, 7KO) of Caracas, Venezuela for the WBA Fedelatin super featherweight title this Saturday night at the Modelo Center in his hometown of La Paz, MX. “I don’t know much about Granados but I have seen his record and we can see that he is not an easy out,” Castaneda Jr. (16-1-1, 14KO) stated. “He has fought tough opposition and that makes us pay better attention to avoid any surprises.” Castaneda’s lone loss came at the hands of WBO NABO lightweight champion Antonio DeMarco last year and in his last bout, he earned a draw against another South American, Alirio Rivero due to a accidental head clash. The fight card will be promoted by Eco Promotions in association with Box Latino and broadcast nationally in Mexico by Cadena Tres.
