WBC featherweight silver champion Robinson “Robin” Castellanos (19-9, 11 KOs) scored a sixth round KO over Derrick Wilson (10-5-2, 3 KOs) on Saturday night at the Oasis Arena in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Wilson was more than happy to trade through the first three rounds, but WBC #2 rated Castellanos’ body work started to get Wilson’s respect in round four. The end came in round six when Castellanos put Wilson on the deck with a hard right hand.

Lightweight Fernando Carcamo (14-5, 10 KOs) scored a huge second round KO over 2004 United States Olympian Vicente Escobedo (26-6, 15 KOs). A left hook to the chin ended it.

Lightweight Abner “Pin” Cotto” (17-1, 8 KOs) scored a fourth round TKO over Daniel Ruiz (29-7-1, 20 KOs).
