Two time world champion Jose Luis Castillo stopped James Wayca in the second round in Mexicali in front of a near sellout crowd at the Fex Palenque. Castillo (58-9-1, 48 KOs) dropped Wayca (17-8, 7 KOs) in round one and finished him a round later with a hook to the body. “I felt very loose in this fight,” stated Castillo. “I wanted to please the public and was hoping for a little more from my opponent, but I got him good with that hook and he couldn’t get up. I’m on my way back to the top!”
