Juarez/El Paso battler Javier “Zorro” Castro (19-1, 17 KOs) will replace Jose Luis Castillo on next weekend’s “Tijuana Thunder” card in Tijuana, Mexico. Castro will face former title challenger Antonio Diaz (45-5-1, 29 KOs), who’d been slated to fight Castillo. Castro was scheduled to fight tonight in Chihuahua, Mexico, but after his fight against Antonio Izquierdo fell out, quickly took up the offer to face Diaz. –Chris Cozzone
