Melindo, Esquer make weight (video)

Undefeated Filipino boxer Milan Melindo and Juan Esquer of Mexico easily made the limit in Friday’s official weigh in held in Cebu City, South of Manila. Melindo (25-0, 9 KO’s) and Esquer (27-9-2, 21 KO’s) both tallied 112 lbs and are raring to give their all in their 12-round title fight Saturday night at the Waterfront Hotel.

Melindo will defend his WBO intercontinental flyweight crown against the Mexican Esquer, a well-traveled fighter who has fought six world champions in his seven-year career. (more…)
