Leading IBF Asian promoter Jimmy Chaichotchuang says that Japanese flyweight Takuma Inoue (2-0) is a future superstar after defeating WBA #4, IBF #5, WBC #5 Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr (23-3, 15 KOs) on Sunday in Ota-City, Japan. On the same promotion Takuma’s brother Naoya captured the WBC 108 pound crown in only his sixth professional fight. “Takuma Inoue is a future superstar after showing amazing skills in defeating my experienced world rated 108 pound boxer, Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr in Japan on Sunday,” said Chaichotchuang. “Also his brother Naoya won the WBC world title in only his sixth fight. They are both outstanding boxers. Takuma was a successful amateur who has made the transition to the professional ranks perfectly to defeat a world rated opponent. Fahlan was impressive in 2013 on first trip to Japan when he scored a third round KO over former WBA mini flyweight champion Ryo Miyazaki. In the future I will keep Fahlan Sakkreerin boxing in the correct division which is jr flyweight (108) not as a flyweight (112). I am confident Sakkreerin will learn from this loss to Inoue and will go on to be a world champion at 108 pounds.”
