Unbeaten hot prospect Jermall Charlo (13-0, 9 KOs) and 2012 U.S. Olympian Errol Spence Jr. (5-0, 4 KOs) will warm up the crowd tonight at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida, leading up to the Braulio Santos vs. Derrick Wilson and Daquan Arnett vs. Miguel Zuniga featured bouts which will be televised on FOX Sports Networks and FOX Deportes. Charlo will meet the experienced Luis Hernandez (21-5, 14 KO’s) in a six-round junior middleweight contest, while Spence will face Guillermo Ibarra (7-2, 4 KO’s) in a junior middleweight bout scheduled for four rounds.
Ronnie Shields-trained Justin DeLoach (2-1, 1 KO) will square off with Jonathan Olivera in a four-round welterweight bout which will be aired on the broadcast time permitting.
Another one of Shields pupils, Steve Geffrard (0-1) will look for his first pro win when he battles Travis Reeves in a four-round cruiserweight match-up.
Plus, Chris Velez (4-0-1, 3 KO’s) risks his unbeaten record in a six-round welterweight fight against Jose Angel Segura (2-3-2, 1 KO) and Travis Castellon (0-0-1) faces Will Fauth, who will be making his professional debut, in a four-round lightweight bout.
Fans attending the event can also see Hall of Famer Tommy “The Hitman” Hearns who is making a special appearance. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the first bell rings at 8:00 p.m.
