Chaves easily defends WBA interim belt

WBA interim welterweight champion Diego Chaves (22-0, 18 KOs) scored a second round TKO to defend his belt against upstart Jose Miranda (12-12-3, 8 KOs) on Saturday night at the famed Luna Park Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Chaves dropped Miranda in round two and got the stoppage from referee Roberto Ramirez with his follow-up barrage. No official time announced.
