Chavez-Diaz public presser

An open to the public press conference for the September 26th lightweight showdown between former Chicago world champions David Diaz and Jesus Chavez will be held this Friday at 6pm at Chicago’s UIC Pavilion. “Along with David Diaz and Jesus Chavez, we’ll have many of the fighters on the undercard including Jose Hernandez, Ivan Popoca and Jaime Sandoval and we’re inviting all of the Chicagoland fight fans to join the media for the press conference,” said promoter Dominic Pesoli. The press conference will take place in the large main lobby of the UIC Pavilion just prior to the doors opening for Friday’s fight card featuring the long awaited return of welterweight contender and Chicago native David Estrada.
