Today Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. received his green belt which consecrates him as WBC Middleweight world champion. The ceremony took place in a the Big Bola Casino in Huixquilucan, Mexico State 18 days after he dethroned Sebastian Zbik in Los Angeles. WBC President Jose Sulaiman made the presentation. The son of the legendary Julio Cesar Chavez is the first fighter from Mexico to wan a middleweight crown. Chavez Jr. said that he will like to fight against Marco Antonio Rubio after his first voluntary defense against Peter Manfredo.
