Nicaraguan WBA light flyweight world champion Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez (34-0, 28 KOs) will be elevated to super champion status in a decision announced by the WBA World Championships Committee after making a evaluation of the results of Gonzalez in his last appearances. Gonzalez has made five defenses of his WBA world crown and meets the rule to be declared super champion.
