Choijiljavyn “Choi” Tseveenpürev (36-5, 24 KOs) found time for a bit of relaxation and to check up on his social media ahead of his IBO World Featherweight Title fight against current Champion Daud “Cino” Yordan (29-2, 23 KOs) this Friday night at Marina Bay Sands Singapore. Choi is currently trained by promoter Spencer Fearon, having previously worked with Jack Doughty and Lee Wilkins. Choi was the winner of the highly prestigious Prizefighter series tournament in England where he fought 3 times in the same night beating Britain’s top boxers in October 2011. Choi has been described as “Britain’s answer to the legendary Australian boxer Kostya Tszyu” by boxing commentator John Rawling, a reference to him sporting a similar trademark ponytail and unrelenting style as the Hall of Fame boxer. Choi himself lists Tszyu as his idol, along with Roberto Duran.
