Chop-Chop Ready for Shobox

DeMarcus “Chop Chop” Corley has seen it all. He has fought all around the world. He has won and lost world titles. So it was no big deal when the former WBO junior welterweight champion from Washington, DC received the call to face contender Freddy “El Riel” Hernandez tonight at the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, CA. “I was scheduled to fight in Las Vegas last week and somehow, I was bumped off the card,” Corley said. “Then my people get a phone call about this bout and we took it.” The bout will be the main event on “ShoBox: The New Generation” on Showtime, a network where Corley has been successful.
