Earlier today WBC #1 heavyweight Chris Arreola (35-2, 30 KOs) held an open media workout in preparation for his April 27 fight at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA. Arreola takes on the WBC #2 Bermane “B.Ware” Stiverne in a 12-round WBC heavyweight championship elimination bout.
“I feel great,” Arreola told Fightnews.com. “Doing good, excited about the fight. One thing I’m hoping is that the Inland Empire comes out and supports you know. This is one step to being the heavyweight champion.”
Regarding his 14 month layoff and ever present questions about his weight:
That is so annoying! Haven’t you seen my last pictures? Haven’t you seen my last fight? There are boxing fans and there are guys who watch boxing.
About being back on HBO:
I have to showcase that I’m better then I once was.
The biggest thing he has to worry about from Bermane Stiverne:
On cat-calls he got last time he fought at Citizens Business Bank Arena:
Boxers are entertainers, fans want knockouts! My job is to entertain. I’m a fan too when I watch fights!
I think seven. I do have a little ring rust. I’m hoping he dosen’t disrespect and lolligag, I want him to come out and fight. I’ll knock him out in seven.

Olympian brothers Javier and Oscar Molina will also see action on the undercard.
