Current undefeated WBA world featherweight champion Chris “The Dragon” John (48-0-2, 22 KOs) has left his training camp at Harry’s Gym in Perth, Australia and is now heading to Indonesia for the final preparation of his upcoming world title defence on April 14 at the Senayan Indoor Tennis Stadium.
The Dragon will defend his belt on the Dragon Fire Promotions card against Japan’s big punching Satoshi “Bazooka” Hosono (23-2, 17 KOs).
After twice successfully retaining his title at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore in 2012, John, the “WBA Fighter of Decade” will be making an incredible 18th defense of his title.
In the Co-Main Event, fellow Indonesian Daud “Cino” Yordan (30-2, 23 KOs) defends his IBO World Featherweight Title against South African Simpiwe “V12” Vetyeka (24-2, 14 KOs).
