Long-reigning WBA featherweight champion Chris John moved his unbeaten record to 47-0-2, 22 KOs with a one-sided twelve round unanimous decision over Shoji Kimura (24-4-2, 9 KOs) on Saturday night in Singapore. John won 118-109, 118-109, 117-110 to make his 16th successful defense.
In other action, Daud Jordan (29-2, 23 KOs) scored a second round TKO over previously unbeaten Lorenzo Villanueva (22-1, 21 KOs) to win the vacant IBO featherweight belt.
