Chris John will stay at 126 pounds and not fight Robert Guerrero, according to John’s U.S. adviser Samson Lewkowicz—contrary to Guerrero’s comments to Fightnews that the two would meet early in 2010. The Indonesian fighter is enjoying a vacation and is likely to fight again in April, Lewkowicz added. There were brief discussions with Golden Boy Promotions about John moving up to 130 pounds and fighting Guerrero, but the talks never reached a substantive level because John wants to stay at 126, Lewkowicz said.
