Christy Martin faces ex-husband at sentencing

Jim Martin, former manager and husband of former world champion Christy “The Coalminer’s Daughter” Martin, was sentenced to 25 years in prison Tuesday in Orlando for stabbing and shooting the female boxing icon. According to the Orlando Sentinel, Christy looked Martin in the eye at the court proceeding and told him “Look at me, Jim. Look at me. From the beginning, I financially supported you, your family and any and all of your significant others. How was I repaid for taking care of you all of those years? …You leaving me for dead on the bedroom floor!”
