Cintron PR workout

Former world welterweight champion Kermit “Killer” Cintron (31-2-1, 27 KOs) worked out today for the media at Gimnasio Wilfredo Gómez Arena de Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Cintron was accompanied by his trainer Ronnie Shields. He is preparing for his upcoming 10 round welterweight main event against Juliano Ramos (15-2, 12 KOs) of Brazil. “I’m training very hard for this fight as I want to put on an excellent performance for my people of Puerto Rico. My goal is to win the world title title again. There is no time to waste and I must continue working hard to reach that goal,” said Cintron.

Also on the card is former welterweight world champion Carlos “El Indio” Quintana (26-2, 20 KOs) taking on former world title challenger and fellow Puerto Rican Jesse Feliciano (15-7-3, 9 KOs) in a 10 round junior middleweight bout. Puerto Rican natives and unbeaten prospects José “Chelo” González (7-0, 4 KOs) and Joel “Joelo” Torres (11-0-1, 7 KOs) will fight in separate bouts. Gonzalez promoted by PR Best Boxing Promotions (Ivan & Peter Rivera) will take on Javier García (6-2-1, 2 KOs) in an eight round bout contracted at 138 pounds. Torres promoted by DiBella Entertainment will be in an eight round lightweight limit bout with an opponent to be announced shortly.
