Contender Series II star Michael ‘Cold Blood’ Clark (37-5-1) returns to the ring this Saturday at the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown, West Virginia. Clark, a former NABF lightweight champ and WBC#1 contender, looks to stay busy as he climbs back into lightweight contention. His opponent in the six rounder will be Chris Overbey (9-10). Also, WBA Fedecentro light heavyweight champ, Tommy Karpency (16-1-1) is set to face durable journeyman Eric Howard (11-15-1) in another six rounder. The five-bout card presented by Simons Promotions will also feature a 4 round female heavyweight matchup between local debut Valerie Walker and Tiffany Woodard (1-2). In addition, local heavy Jason Pettaway (1-0) will clash with Alan Prescott (2-3) in another four rounder, while heavyweight Jason Bergman (8-8) battles Maurice Winslow (3-8) in a six.
