Clottey wins, but isn’t impressive in comeback fight

Former IBF welterweight champion Joshua Clottey (37-4, 22 KOs), making his debut as a middleweight, scored a workmanlike ten round unanimous decision over Dashon Johnson (14-13-3, 5 KOs) on Saturday night at the Paramount in Huntington, New York. One sided fight, but Clottey, inactive since November 2011, figured to have a more impressive performance than this. Scores were 100-89, 100-89, 99-90. Johnson was deducted a point for throwing Clottey to the canvas.
