Cameroon born and Australian based WBO #9 welterweight Samuel Colomban (18-3, 9 KOs) will be in action against Steve Heremaia (16-4-1, 7 KOs) of New Zealand over twelve rounds at the Melbourne Pavillion in Flemington, Victoria, Australia on Saturday. Colomban scored his most impressive win in 2010 when he stopped former IBF lightweight champion Philip Holiday in eleven rounds but suffered a setback in 2008 when IBF #12 Wale Omotoso scored a clear ten round decision over Colomban, dropping him twice in Melbourne.
Steve Heremaia comes to fight every time he steps in the ring and extended world rated Ryan Waters and defeated Frank Loporto in 2009 fights.
In supporting bouts 130 pound prospect Will Tomlinson (14-0, 11 KOs) will slug it out with Filipino Rey Labao (19-2, 13 KOs) over twelve rounds.
Former world title challenger, Indonesian 140 pounder Daudi Bahari (40-3-1, 15 KOs) will clash with Solomon Egberime (20-3, 10 KOs) over twelve rounds. Egberime holds a ten round points win over Samuel Colomban and will be a stiff test for Bahari.
