Hall of Fame boxing announcer Colonel Bob Sheridan underwent triple-bypass heart surgery on Monday night. We’ve been informed that he just got out of surgery and the operation was a success. We’ll have more details soon on the Colonel.
The Colonel has called over 10,000 fights on radio and television and was inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame in 2004. He has also been honored with the Boxing Writers Association of America Sam Taub award and the Florida Boxing Hall of Fame inducted the Colonel in 2011.
