Concepcion-Montiel meet

Panamanian Former WBA interim super flyweight world champion Rafael “Torito” Concepcion of Panama and current WBC and WBO bantamweight world champion Fernando “Cochulito” Montiel on Mexico actually ran into each other at the Chiapas Airport in advance of their fight on Saturday at the Palenque de la Feria in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico. The fighters were respectful toward each other and posed together for pictures.
Concecpion, Montiel’s original opponent, kept training in Panama City when Montiel stated he would fight Eric Morel instead. When Morel pulled out, Concepcion was ready to step back in.
