Former junior-welterweight world champion DeMarcus “Chop Chop” Corley (33-10-1, 19 KOs) scored a seventh round TKO over former title challenger Wilson “El Topadora” Enrique Galli (31-9, 13 KOs) on Tuesday night at the Meadowlands Sheraton Hotel in East Rutherford, NJ. Corley dropped Galli twice in the contest, getting the stoppage at 1:23 of the seventh when Galli’s corner threw in the towel. The time was 1:23. Promoter Darwish Brothers Knockout Promotions was staging their first boxing show in four years.
