Four-time and three-division world champion Miguel Cotto and WBA super welterweight world champion Austin Trout followed Monday’s big New York press conference with another presser on Wednesday in Cotto’s hometown of Caguas, Puerto Rico.
“I guarantee to my people of Caguas that on December 1 I will be champion again,” stated a confident Cotto. Trout vowed, “I’m not going to lose my title or my unbeaten record.” They collide December 1 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
