Three-time world champion Miguel Cotto has settled into his training camp in Tampa this week. Cotto is in camp with his new trainer Emanuel Steward, his physical trainer, Phil Landman and his assistant trainer Joe Santiago. “We have to take Miguel back to his days as a boxer, because for his fight against Yuri Foreman he will need to be quick to cut the ring off and fast to land his punches,” said Steward. Cotto will take on Foreman for the WBA super welterweight championship on June 5 at Yankee Stadium in a fight to be telecast live on HBO. Cotto will be seeking a world title in a third division. He has held the WBO Jr. welterweight and welter championship as well as the WBA welterweight championship.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday.
