Cruz in action Feb. 27

Puerto Rican hot featherweight prospect Luis ‘El Artesano’ Cruz (12-0, 9 KOs), made 136.6 pounds in a required preliminary weigh-in for his second title defense to be held as the headliner on Boxeo Boricua In Caguas on Saturday February 27th. “I don’t know too much about my opponent, only that he is a southpaw., but I feel confident on a big victory. I feel prepared to face anyone,” emphasized Cruz. Luis ‘El Artesano’ Cruz will defend his USNBC featherweight title (a World Boxing Council regional title) against contender León Bobo (18-4-1, 2 KOs) from St. Louis Missouri, who made 134 pounds on the preliminary weigh-in. Boxeo Boricua In Caguas is promoted by Promociones Miguel Cotto, Inc. and H2 Entertainment. Tickets prices are $12, $25, $35 and are available at Ticket Center (787)792-5000.
