Cruz retains IBF 126lb belt!

IBF featherweight champion Cristobal Cruz (38-11-1, 23 KOs) retained his title with a unanimous decision over Cyril Thomas (33-3-4, 10 KOs) on Saturday night at the Palais des Sportsin Saint-Quentin, France. Scores were 116-112, 115-113 and 115-113. Cruz simply had too much firepower for hometown favorite Thomas. It was Cruz’ first defense since winning the vacant title last October.
