Daiki Kameda loses, but retains title; Tomoki Kameda and Katsunari Takayama retain belts

Results from the world championship tripleheader at the Bodymaker Colosseum in Osaka, Japan are as follows:

In what was supposed to be a WBA/IBF super flyweight unification bout, IBF super flyweight champion Daiki Kameda (29-4, 10 KOs) lost a twelve round split decision to Liborio Solis (16-3-1, 7 KOs), but retained his IBF title since Solis, who lost his WBA belt on the scale, couldn’t make weight. The WBA title remains vacant. Scores were 115-113 Kameda, 116-112, 116-112 for Solis.

WBO champion bantamweight champion Tomoki Kameda (29-0, 18 KOs) retained his title with a twelve round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Immanuel Naidjala (17-1-1, 10 KOs). Scores were 119-109, 118-110, 117-111.

IBF minimumweight champion Katsunari Takayama (26-6, 10 KOs) retained his title with a twelve round unanimous decision over Vergilio Silvano (17-3-1, 10 KOs). Scores were 118-110, 118-110, 120-108.
