“Gamboa is probably going to be one of the toughest fighters I’ve ever faced but we’ve put a lot of work in the gym, we have a great strategy and we know how to win and that’s what we’re going to do September 10.” said Ponce de Leon.
In his last outing, Ponce de Leon lost a controversial 10-round unanimous decision to Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner (21-0, 17 KOs) this past March at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. “Everyone that saw the fight knows that I won, I know I won, he knows I won and I have no problems fighting him again.” said Ponce de Leon.
