Caramelito Promotions’ undefeated heavyweight boxer Janne Katajisto who holds also Finnish national and BBU heavyweight titles will put his BBU title on line this Saturday at Vaasa, Finland against “Mike Tyson Conqueror” Danny Williams over eight rounds. Katajisto (10-0-1, 5 KO) who went through elbow surgery back in June has had sparring with Sami Selesmaa and Vaasa-based amateur Pirkka Suksi who is #3 at super heavyweight in the Finnish amateur rankings. With these main sparring partners, Katajisto is accustomed to Williams’ height and reach advantage and his team thinks Williams will be surprised by Katajisto’s extreme hand speed.
“We will have a great and surely sold out show with two very interesting pro bouts and 4 amateur bouts with 3 local amateur boxers. Also the new thing in our show is internationally available web stream with only 5 Euros. I’m very proud over all of our team that we are able to offer this kind of show for the audience here in Vaasa,” says promoter Markus Lammi from Caramelito Promotions.
“Janne has had good sparrings and I expect him to show the real fighter inside him. In his latest fight we saw much more aggressive puncher than earlier and if Janne fights same way, he will knock Williams out as well as comebacking Teemu Tuominen will make for his Italian opponent,” promises manager Petro Koskimies.
The undercard will contain another pro bout which shall take place in welterweight division over 4 rounds between two undefeated boxers. Kick Boxing World and European championships bronze medalist Teemu Tuominen (1-0, 1 KO) will square off with Italian Christian Pastarini (2-0, 1 KO) who is managed by former EU champion Giuseppe Lauri. Also there will be 4 amateur bouts.
