Highly regarded Australian featherweight Davey Browne (15-1-1, 4 KOs) will return ring action Friday when he will clash with tough Filipino Reynaldo “Boy of Steel” Belandres (12-0-2, 8 KOs) over ten rounds with the WBC Youth title up for grabs at the Star City Casino, Sydney, NSW, Australia. Browne featured in one of the best Australian fights of 2009 when he extended world rated IBF #10, WBO #11 Billy “The Kid” Dib losing a cut eye decision in eight rounds. On the undercard, super middleweight Zac Awad (12-0-1, 6 KOs) will punch it out with Daniel Pawsey (9-3, 6 KOs) over eight rounds. Former 140 pound world rated Filipino Ranee Ganoy (27-11-2, 23 KO’s) will meet veteran Guillermo Mosquera (41-8-3, 20 KOs) over six rounds.
