Heavyweight David Price (17-2, 15 KOs) came off the deck to score a third round KO over Onrej Pala (33-5, 23 KOs) on Saturday night in Esbjerg, Denmark. Pala dropped the 6’8 Price in round one with a looping left hook behind the ear. The British heavyweight was straight back on his feet and able to compose himself in the second before unleashing some devastating right hands in the third to twice send Pala crashing to the canvas and unable to continue. Time was :33.

Middleweight contender Andy Lee (32-2, 22 KOs) was lucky to escape with a razor-thin eight round majority decision over unheralded Frank Haroche Horta (34-13-5, 13 KOs). Scores were 77-76, 77-76, 76-76.

Unbeaten light heavyweight Erik Skogland (20-0, 11 KOs) scored a ninth round TKO over Danilo D’Agata (12-2-1, 3 KOs).

    Help Support®

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
